Devapriya's journey was not merely about climbing the corporate ladder; it was about carving her path through uncharted territories, she embraced the power of possibility, always seeking the next big challenge.

An “accidental entrepreneur” as she calls herself, she never imagined she would venture into entrepreneurship. Her 18 years of corporate experience in the marketing industry, where she honed her skills, tackled challenges, and climbed the ranks, laid the foundation for her entrepreneurship journey.

Devapriya launched Connexus Global Ventures, with a vision to create a supportive ecosystem for women in business. During the pandemic, she interacted with many women entrepreneurs in India and the UK who faced similar issues: lack of access to mentorship, funds, and networks. With a drive to change those circumstances and an intent to be a guide and a helping hand to other fellow entrepreneurs, Devapriya marched on. Today, she is successfully leading Connexus across borders and increasing her reach to support female leaders and organisations globally. They offer a comprehensive suite of strategies, tools, and resources that enable brands and businesses to scale new heights of visibility and profitability while spearheading women-led projects.

Her company also works with various leading multinational organisations to further their DEIB initiatives. Their LeadHER workshops and programs help organisations be more inclusive and this enriches the overall employer brand.

But to begin with, Devapriya faced the daunting task of bootstrapping her venture, often downsizing projects and managing operations single-handedly. The transition from corporate stability to the unpredictable world of entrepreneurship was challenging. But she overcame this with creative financial management, strategic networking, and positive thinking, and ensured Connexus’s survival.

As Devapriya strives to build a global and scalable platform that elevates women-led businesses globally, one thing close to her heart is - to be the helping hand for women everywhere.
