Quality education was of utmost importance to a young Ritu, who studied hard and earned various accolades throughout her secondary and tertiary education. Armed with a postgraduate degree in English literature, a B.Ed. degree, and a postgraduate diploma in broadcasting arts, she personifies the spirit of learning.

Her knowledge allowed her to gain financial independence from an early age, as she began teaching English to children attending Holy Child Convent School while she pursued her postgraduate degree. This was the first of many teaching stints as Ritu fell in love with the profession and would go on to launch Ritu Bhagat’s English Academy, conducting workshops in some of the country’s most prestigious schools.

Along with teaching, one may have seen Ritu on the television screen. She has had a colourful career as a presenter for various shows such as Yatra, Delhi aur Aas Pass, Quiz Time, etc. Some of her students even participated in the quiz shows she hosted! Her tryst with the media industry culminated in a partnership of sorts when she was elected as Brand Ambassador for the International Chamber for Media & Entertainment. She has also been invited to speak and guide people in prestigious institutes such as the Chamber of Commerce.

Having conquered the classroom and the newsroom, she moved on to dominate the writing space. Her book, “English Hinglish” is a literary testament to the power of cinema and literature. The book intertwines education and entertainment; aiming to improve readers’ English skills. As Ritu herself is an admirer of the Hindi film industry, there are ample cinematic references to keep readers engaged.

With teaching, presenting, writing, and even acting in plays, Ritu continues to enjoy a life in the spotlight. And why not? Her hard work and perseverance have made her an unstoppable force in the industry.
