She fought against patriarchy to become a teacher, earn triple post-graduation degrees, and author over 15 books. In 2014, Jinnie ventured into the world of fitness armed with nothing more than an insane self-belief that she could survive the rigor.

Jinnie’s second inning in her career demanded physical fortitude and mental resilience. She embraced new fitness regimes and trained harder. Finally, her sweat paid off. In 2017, Jinnie won four gold medals at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship.

“I can say with pride that I have survived and thrived. Between two demanding careers—building brands and smashing social stereotypes—I have seen injuries, health scares, and failed businesses, yet I have persevered, learned, unlearnt, and won,” says Jinnie.

As a fitness influencer and the brand ambassador of the Fit India Campaign, the unstoppable Jinnie Gogia Chugh is a winning combination of self-belief, resilience, and patience. At 47, Jinne is an influential figure and an example for women to suit.
