Wholesome & Simple Evening Snacks: Healthy Recipes
Quarantine season has turned every other person into a specialist in baking and cooking. Isn't it? I have been seeing everyone's story where they bake luscious cakes and make scrumptious dalgona coffee. But, keeping everything aside, this season has legit made us eat more than we actually eat. But, why should we stuff ourselves with unhealthy snacks? Can't we eat something healthy which tastes toothsome too? Well, yes we can. Today, I am sharing a list of healthy and easy evening snacks that anyone can make within a short span of time. So, here we go.
Bhel Puri
Indians cannot do without bhel puri. Agree to this fam? This not so fancy evening snack will definitely amaze you once you go through the entire recipe. All you need is bhel and some veggies. For taste you can also add chutney and start mixing it & voila, you're done. It is that easy and requires only about 10 minutes.
Grilled sandwiches
Delicious Bombay grilled sandwich is not a dream anymore in this lockdown. You can prepare your own grilled sandwiches and that too with minimal ingredients. This simple yet so delicious evening snack is an attraction. You will love it every time you prepare it. To get that cheesy grilled look, you can spread mozzarella cheese inside the sandwich.
Potato Lollipop
Yes, I know this one is a bit on an unhealthier side but, the relaxed weekends have that little freedom to call out for such astounding and sumptuous recipes. Potato Lolipop is 2-3 ingredient dish and, you can use a toothpick to give Lolipop effect to it.
Momos - Every girl's first love
Who doesn't loves momos? Momos are bae for every girl out there. For this wonderful and yummy recipe, you need some veggies for stuffing and flour for momos. The appetizing evening snack takes less than 15 minutes & trust me it tastes heavenly. Instead of flour (maida), you can use whole wheat flour (atta) to make a healthier version of momos.
Crispy Corn
Can I just announce Crispy Corn as an evening snack which legit takes less than 5 minutes? A bunch of veggies and American corn goes hand in hand. You have to mix corn and veggies and, add some spicy and flavourful seasonings. Seasonings can change the taste of your recipe, making it more succulent and delish.
Uttapam
A typical South Indian recipe that I swear by is Uttapam. Again this is a very healthy evening snack and it tastes toothy and yummy. You have to mix Sooji or Rava or Semolina in water and keep it for like 1 hour. Sprinkle the veggies while making uttapam or, you can mix it in the uttapam batter. It looks less like an uttapam and more of a pizza which is obviously very healthy.
With that, we finally wrap up with some easy yet delish evening snacks. I know you are hungry and cannot control your hunger but, you gotta try these dishes to feel how luscious they actually are.
