“I build experiences. I build people as experiences by helping them become a Personal Brand on Social Media, and I help build spaces as an experience through immersive events”- this powerful passionate pitch is of none other than Gurnoor Kaur Behl, LinkedIn Top Voice, community builder, event curator and the founder of House of GKB.

Starting up at 16, building a digital media career, training over 5000 personal brands, becoming a reality TV star, and creating a safe, inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community in Delhi NCR, requires some mettle, and that is palpable in Gurnoor’s life journey.

“I realized my different shades of diversity are my unique codes to shine in this world. From investor pitches to speaking up on queer issues, to becoming part of LinkedIn Creators Accelerator Program, and to be the only person to be officially trained by Meta, YouTube, and LinkedIn, I have done it all”, says Behl.

Initially, she had no intention of starting my own business. Between her first job as a social media executive with a UN-affiliated NGO and her last one at Gaming Central, Gurnoor realized that she had an affinity for start-ups, and social media, and a cherished desire for independence that would fuel her future career path.

The challenges were many. The Epilepsy that stalled her progress; an army background, so she wouldn’t know how to build up a business that would invite investors; bootstrapping that slowed the pace of growth; and lastly, fear of acknowledging her queerness publicly as an entrepreneur.

Gurnoor being Gurnoor, took all the challenges head-on and converted them into opportunities. She took leaving her job due to Epilepsy as a blessing in disguise as she got the time to reflect on her choices. I found mentors and coaches and invested in my self-development. Embracing her story as a queer neurodivergent woman leader, Gurnoor chose the power and presence of social media to become a force for good. She drew upon her work experience and training at YouTube Creators Academy to launch the House of Gurnoor Kaur Behl, specializing in helping people become sought-after personal brands on social media.

Determined to promote gender diversity and inclusivity, Gurnoor founded Delhi Queer Spaces to create inclusive, equitable, and safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community in Delhi NCR through events. She made her authenticity and vulnerability her strength. In queerness, she found her voice; her health taught her resilience, and entrepreneurship became the wind beneath her wings.

Audacious and ambitious, she is all set to take Delhi Queer Spaces to a larger footprint, globally, and accelerate the pace of her business programs to encompass more individuals who become social media power brands.

Unstoppable Gurnoor Kaur Behl, firebrand creator-crusader is showing the world what embracing diversity in action looks like and inspiring others to become social media superstars.
