Resolutions tend to fade away by the end of January and you get thrown back to your old self just as the second month approaches. This happens because resolutions majorly come from a place of self-criticism and not from a point of becoming a better version of oneself. Resolutions should be a product of desire, thrill and enthusiasm and then only you will be able to be a happier person. - Embrace your imperfections: There is nothing known as perfect and trying to achieve the same is nothing less than falling into a trap. Let yourself be the unique creation you are with scope for upswings.
- Plan out a date with a friend/family every week: Busy schedules hamper the bonds we share with some of our fond ones. Meeting them at a regular interval will keep you warm and joyful.
- Learn to cook a new dish every month: Cooking is therapeutic and while trying new dishes you might end up with something delicious for your loved ones.
- Write down your achievements every night: You are an achiever and you are way more than you know. Jotting things down will let you know your worth and give you motivation for the next awaiting day.
- Plan a 30 minute ?me time? every day: Relax and pamper yourself in your me-time. May be, catch up with yourself over a cup of coffee or apply a face pack . Or, listen to your favourite music. By the way, me-times are the best for introspection when only you and nature talks to you.
- Go on a solo date every month: Nothing can be better than discovering exciting aspects about your own self and this can be done when you are all by yourself. Solo trip to a nearby destination for a day or two, is all you require every month to be you.
- Style yourself well: Be active and put effort in how you present yourself, as it is much easier for people who are presentable to get heard and approach people.
- Dress as you want every day: To dress is to empower yourself. It is the first impression that you leave on others, so invest time in deciding your and be comfortable and trendy or just the way you want.
- Value your own satisfaction: Women many a time consider their partner?s or children?s happiness prior to that of theirs. Try keeping a balance of both and you will be happier than before.
- Get quality sleep: A sound sleep is certainly on everyone's mind. It is researched that apart from physical health consequences, sleep deprivation is one of the major causes to fuel depression. Get your sleep well to avoid slipping from opportunities.
- Stop gossiping about others and focus on yourself: Whenever in a gathering it is quite obvious to talk about people but better seclude yourself from such conversations and enjoy other things happening around.

Be clear with your choices and do not hesitate putting forth a big no politely but effectively to something you don't want, support or appreciate.
- Declutter your cupboard every month: Organization and cleanliness release stress. Doing this will keep you serene when you come back to your place after a tiring day.
- Buy things wisely: Keep a check on impulse buying, as women especially are frequent impulse buyers. Often we purchase things we do not at all require and regret wasting money later.
- Join a club or a group: Meet new people, do new stuff, and let yourself blossom. Explore the world and you will know it has a lot to offer. This will let you be more expressive and involved.
