Do you always fall for bad guys and end up getting hurt? Do your friends keep warning you about the guys you dated? And, you realize. Darn! You do it again. If yes, then, girl, you have been bitten by the BBB - Bad Boy Bug!

The good news is that you are not alone. There are many other women like you!

Bad news? There is not much you can do about it unless you become very strong from within.

Typically, there is a pattern of bad boys that keeps happening, one after another, leaving a wounded heart and a bloated face full of tears.

Do you wonder why you still find bad boys so alluring despite multiple indications that they are not the right persons? This is exactly what we’ll talk about in this blog.

#1 We Think of Them as Our “Pet Project”

Nowadays, most people lead chaotic lives, yet good boys own up to their errors. Furthermore, they are wise and loving, and they are also a kind of “perfect match” for any girl.

But as we all know, women thrive on challenging themselves. We are always willing to find the issues and fix them! Also, the thrill of making a bad boy into a good boy usually makes women feel rewarded.

#2 We Find Their Emotionless Selves to Be Charming

The next finest reason is the soulless charm of the bad boys,  making anyone fall for them. A female will always appreciate a man with a witty sense of humour and quick thinking.

So if the guy happens to compliment you now and then - that’s it! He has won you over! The bad boy virus has got to you. However, be as aware as possible because these compliments they keep showering you with may not be true. They don’t always mean what they say.

#3 The Attractiveness, Confidence, and Can-Do Attitude of Bad Boys

The fact that bad boys exude confidence is one of the main factors contributing to women's attraction to them. Additionally, women adore self-assured men. Bad boys are also lively, daring, and eager to try anything new. No matter how difficult it becomes, bad boys always want to break the rules and do what they want.

Another intriguing truth is that society still views aggression and domination as qualities of a true man. So, when it comes to dating, narcissistic bad boys are considered far better than supposed nice guys.

#4 Bad Boys Make Us Feel ‘Safe’

Isn’t it quite obvious? You have nothing to worry about while dating a bad boy. Undoubtedly, he is the ideal bodyguard to give you freedom and security. Why? Because they will risk everything to keep you safe in any circumstance.

Risk-taking becomes another way for males to display dominance, pushing women to love it. Also, most bad boys are physically attractive. Women that feel insecure gravitate toward those males for that reason.

Think about it - when you are insecure, would you choose a skinny, nerdy, spectacled guy as your protector? No right? Girls want a man who is strong enough to confront the world and fight back when required.

#5 We Don’t Want To Hurt The Nice Guys

Sometimes women want to explore their surroundings and are not ready for a lifetime commitment. But then, the bad guys arrive with a commitment-proof relationship, like those free trial packages.

Unfortunately, he becomes a jerk after realizing she wants a lifelong subscription to his services. Since we don't want to hurt the good boy, we reject dating him. We fall into the toxicity of the bad guys happily.

Women prefer a bodyguard at their side all the time, though. Therefore, while picking a date, they choose men who are physically attractive and have a risk-taking, rough-and-tough, damn-care attitude. Unfortunately, the bad boys are the ones who own those, but they aren’t worth it.

So, put on your crown and remember your worth. You are a queen and deserve to be treated like one. Before you fall for another bad guy and hurt yourself, think about your decision thoroughly. Maybe give a chance to that nerdy guy who’s had a crush on you forever?
